I had a really good experience here. The staff explains everything really well, gives you options and recommendations. They aren't overly pushy and don't try to oversell services or anything. The waiting area is pretty nice too. They've got free drinks, WiFi, and charging stations so that you can stay entertained. Highly recommend this place!

Last year I took my old car to the shop in desperation. I couldn’t find a shop that could work on it because the parts were no longer made. They had a technician that pieced my old Cabriolet back together. While I found a place that had one of the parts after searching for a few weeks my car broke down yet again. Same problem , no parts. But I was urged to leave it there to see what could be done. A day later they called me to say my car was.well again. I couldn’t believe it. I went in paid my bill, which was way less than expected and found out the same technician had created the part It needed and he worked tirelessly to get it done. I was devastated with all the car problems but the shop made it easier to cope with. Terrific place for the ladies to take their cars to. Honest, trustworthy, and very caring. Thanks so much for being a friend when I was in need HONEST 1.

Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are honest and fair and transparent about everything every time I’ve dealt with them. They also work very quickly. Highly recommended!

I brought in an old 2001 Nissan because it would not pass smog. Previously I had taken it to PEP Boys and after checking it out said they did not want to try and fix it because they had bad previous experiences with these old cars. When I pushed them rhey referred me to Honest 1. Kurt at Honest1 was very professional and explained carefully their process. They did a full evaluation (Level 2 of 3) and found the leak. It would have been a $200 charge but they needed to replace a canister that cost $180 from Nissan! In any case they completed it and will check it in 100 miles and then I can get it to pass smog. Overall very good experience with a show stopper problem.

Brought my car in for brake service. Brad helped me out at the counter. He was kind, honest, transparent and explained exactly what was needed. They inspected my car and emailed me a list of what the car needed, along with recommendations on what to fix and what could wait. I would highly recommend this place, they seem like truly honest and good people, and I believe it’s a family-run establishment. I will return for any of my cars needs.

These guys are hands down the best in the area. After moving to Costa Mesa, my last mechanic was a bit of a trek so I decided to give them a shot and I’m glad I did. First time in they worked on the car for a few hours, trying to clear the CEL and did so but couldn’t fully diagnose the issue. So they didn’t charge me a cent. Told me to bring it back if there were any issues and they’d pick up where they left off. Next time, they diagnosed and fixed the issue in a matter of hours for about $100. Wasn’t going to be an expensive repair regardless but was surprised to sneak out with that small of a bill. Kurt is the man and always greets me by name despite only having met me a few times. Immaculate waiting area with a TV if you need to sit and wait while they work on your car. They’re all genuinely nice people with good senses of humor and have the professionalism nailed at the same time. It’s a hard line to walk but they do it well. Bring your car here, they charge fair prices and explain what’s being done as they do it. Some of it will go over your head but it’s helpful to build up a knowledge base. These guys are best, no doubt about it!
